My first tech conference was a rousing success. It featured speakers from the tech industry that have been successful entrepreneurs. Both touted Northeast Ohio as reasons behind the success of their businesses, whether it was b2b or corporate support both speakers were willing to share their journeys. After the interview portion there was a question and answer session. The attendees were encouraged to stick around for some music and further networking. The event was sold out but there will be another in March so have no fear. I ran into the lead 3d printer person at Akron hacker space. We had an interesting conversation that will hopefully lead to a more in depth analysis of the Akron 3d printer scene.
