Ready to Start Gardening Yet?

Monday, March 25, Sarah Vradenburg, a Master Gardener of Summit County, will be at the Fairlawn-Bath Library at 6:30pm to give a presentation on effective vegetable gardening.

Is it really Spring outside?  Mother Nature sure loves to play with us here in Northeast Ohio, doesn’t she?

You wouldn’t know it by stepping outside, but April showers are right around the corner – as is gardening season!  This coming Monday, March 25, Sarah Vradenburg, a Master Gardener of Summit County, will be at the Fairlawn-Bath Library at 6:30pm to give a presentation on effective vegetable gardening.  She will cover basics of soil preparation, types of gardens to suit a variety of needs, and the kinds of vegetables that give you the most bang for your money and time.  Don’t have much space or sun in your yard?  No problem!  You can still likely grow your favorite herbs and vegetables.

Prepare yourself for the warmer and sunnier days ahead with a little thought about the fresh and delicious homegrown vegetables you are going to be growing in your yard in the coming months.
