CES Summation

My recent attempt of the same day coverage of CES last week was a success. I believe I was able to get a pretty good feel for the market in this upcoming year (although time will tell) the 2014 consumer electronics show also re-affirmed some ideas covered last year as possibilities the industry could move in. (See 2013 blogs as reference, thanks) 3-d printers aim to be greater staples of the engineering/architecture office than blue print machines. Blue prints are used for deliverable items where 3d-printers could be used during meetings to flesh out areas with clients that may not be as clear on an abstract piece of paper. Blue-printing companies are somehow letting office supply retailers like staples and even UPS/FedEx beat them to a new market will this trend stick around for 2014 or will the (usually local companies) bridge a gap between the maker and professional communities.
