Citizens Bank treats local children to special holiday shopping event

Citizens Bank provided 60 Akron and Canton children with $100 Target gift cards to use during a holiday shopping spree event at the Canton Target Store on December 15. Citizens Bank Fairlawn branch employee Elizabeth Dross (pictured) is among the volunteers who helped make the holidays a little brighter for children from ACCESS, an Akron-based emergency homeless shelter serving women and children, and Canton’s JRC, a nonprofit social service agency supporting the diverse needs of families. This event was part of the bank’s Citizens Helping Citizens program to give back to the community.
