Civil War Reenactment Rocks Hale Farm and Village

War came to the normally peaceful this weekend as it became the site for Civil War reenactment.  The usual quiet of the farm was disturbed by the marching of boots, beating of war drums, taunts hurled by rival factions and most of all, the booms of cannon and rifle fire. Not all was violent though as merchants came to sell their period wares and food. For an afternoon, guests could take a glimpse into one of America’s most historic periods.
