Does the scale matter?

There have been a few advancements this week augmenting 3d printing with Lego to cut down on time spent fabricated could be very important for prototype. If you want a working model and have a smooth out the rough edges then this may be that you would want to take. On a larger scale there is a 3d printing model that could transform home building. The combination of standard construction with large scale 3d concrete printing could help with re-construction after natural disaster like Sandy, Katrina or the tornado that affected preparation although cbs news didn't mention it in its report it could also aid in flood and natural disaster preparation. Why couldn't the same machine that builds foundations also be used to prepare. The emergency response crews could be concentrated somewhere else instead of hauling sand bags and loading them into place.

Stratasys also has tailored 3d modeling software specifically for 3d printing teeth. I know from experience as a frequent visitor to the orthodontist that the modeling involved is both costly and time consuming. Hopefully, this advancement cuts down on both.
