Local Senior Community Hosts Art Show and Auction Fundraising Event

All Proceeds to Benefit the Alzheimer's Association®

AKRON, Ohio, September xx, 2012 – Brookdale Place of Bath, a Brookdale Senior Living assisted living community, is hosting an "Art From The Heart Art Show & Auction" to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The art show will showcase resident artists and the auction will feature raffle baskets and resident artwork. The event will feature chef-prepared appetizers and cocktails. Guests are encouraged to wear purple in support of the Alzheimer's Association. All proceeds from the event will benefit the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Admission to the event is free.

"This fun event serves a dual purpose," said Carla Schoch, executive director of Brookdale Place of Bath. "It helps to raise funds to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease and allows for our residents, associates and local families to have fun and celebrate life every day."
