Come to the 26th annual Kids Are Number One Run & Family Fun Day at Akron Children's Hospital. The day features four runs and walks, and includes Soap Box Derby cars, DJ Bill Allen, Blue Twisters jump rope team, Petie the Pony, the Sharon Rae Dancers, face painting and a hula hoop contest.
The Miracle Mile is a competitive, 1-mile run; the Fun Run is a noncompetitive, 1-mile run; a competitive 5K will run through Glendale Cemetery; and Paws for a Cause is a noncompetitive, 1-mile walk or run for dogs and their owners.
The Employee Foundation Council sponsors the event that benefits the Cleft Palate Family Support Group and ACBC Burn Camp.
