Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer and accounts for almost half of all cancers in the United States. On Saturday, May 11, area dermatologists, in conjunction with the Cleveland Dermatological Society, will volunteer their time to provide free skin cancer screenings for adults and children from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Akron General Ambulatory Care Center, 400 Wabash Avenue, first floor, Akron. Information on skin cancer and sunscreen samples will also be available. Free parking will be provided. Please call 330-344-AGMC (2462) to make an appointment for this life-saving screening.
