Summit Mall is partnering with Summit County Children Services to present the 26th Annual Child and Family Awareness Month Family Expo on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Summit Mall.
The event will showcase displays and activities for the entire family, as well as provide an opportunity to win wonderful prizes for all mall visitors. Kids can meet Walkaround Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street at the Western Reserve PBS booth. There will also be live performances by children’s singer Coolbelly on the event stage at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
“This event bring families together for a day of fun,” said Kate Miller, area director of marketing and business development for Simon Property Group. “It will also provide important information on the Summit County Children’s Services, which has served the community for many years.”

To provide a safe haven for wayward children of the Summit community, Congressman, William Upson opened Summit County Children Services in 1885. Since then, the organization has provided unlimited services and care for Summit County families and children.
