The Bath Community and Bath Volunteers for Service---support the Bath Fire Department!

The Bath Community and Bath Volunteers for Service---support the Bath Fire Department!  The Bath Fire Department Horse Show is an annual fundraiser that dates back to 1944.  Volunteerism and community involvement is key to Bath Volunteers for Service (BVS), now in it's 55th year of community service---and the Bath Fire Department's Horse Show is a major benefactor of the group's organizational skills.  Starting with the coordination of over 4,000 mailers to the Bath Community, Bath Volunteers for Service manages the collection of donations, the publication of the Horse Show Program, the Children's Horse Show Poster Contest, and the Horse Show ticket gate.  The donations allow the Bath Fire Department to fund and organize the Horse Show, and all remaining funds are then used toward the purchase of new fire equipment, specialized fire and rescue training, and community educational programs like Adult CPR classes and the Children's Fire Safety House, as well as the annual Halloween Party.  This year's Horse Show is Saturday and Sunday, July 6th and 7th, at the horse grounds located on Revere and Everett Roads, across from Revere High School in Bath.  For more information about the Horse Show, please contact Bath Fire Department at 330-666-3738.  For more information about BVS, please visit us at bathvolunteersforservice.com.
