Fairlawn Mall Hosting Flower Show

FAIRLAWN-BATH, OH - From the Dahlia Society of Ohio: Summit Mall is hosting the 2017 Dahlia Society of Ohio (DSO) Annual Show, a two-day floral arrangement exhibition, on Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. through Sunday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m.

The 87th Annual Dahlia Show will bring exhibitors from all over the state to Summit Mall as they present a variety of floral arrangements to DSO judges. Following judging at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Summit Mall will open at 10 a.m. and the floral arrangements will remain on display for the public to view during regular mall hours.

DSO is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage the cultivation of dahlias, as well as exchange information and increase public awareness about dahlias. As one of over 70 societies that comprise the American Dahlia Society, DSO hosts many events, shows and exhibitions each year.

Dahlias are easy-to-grow plants and yield beautiful blooms from mid-summer through fall. These sought-after flowers are annually blooming plants in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes that bring any landscape to life.
