Family Lecture Series - The Moon

The moon is our nearest solar system neighbor, but how much do you really know about it? This family oriented presentation will answer your questions about the moon and provide some insight into how it behaves, what it's like, and how old it might be. A September evening is a great time to observe the moon as it gets dark out early, but is not yet cold after sunset. We will have some telescopes set up for viewing the moon after the presentation, weather permitting. This program is FREE, but suggested donations of $3 per person or $12 per family will be accepted to support the Museum.
