Insect fossils are found in many places around the world. How can something so delicate become a fossil? Learn from Bea Dunkel, an accomplished fossil collector, about insect fossils and their formation. Bea will discuss the insect fossils found in several rock formations and the conditions required to fossilize an insect. She will also discuss how to look for signs of a live burial of the insect in question. This will be an engaging presentation that you will not hear anywhere else! Please RSVP by calling the Museum at (330)665-3466. This program is FREE, but a suggested donation of $3 per person or $12 per family is appreciated to support the Museum.
