Why Go: Learn about the impact that India has had on the global market. This exhibits runs through March 20 in the Stager and Blum galleries.

Why Go: Conducted by Christopher Wilkins. Featuring Martina Filjak, Cleveland International Piano Competition Winner, 2009.

Where/When: Akron Northside Station, 27 Ridge St., Akron; Saturday and Sunday at 11:35 a.m.
Why Go: Tour Cuyahoga Valley National Park via railway. Sit back and relax for the two-and-a-half hour round trip, or hop off and explore the shops and galleries of Peninsula during an hour-and-a-half layover. There's a concession car with fresh sandwiches, snacks and beverages.

5. AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT RECEPTION
Where/When: F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm Visitors Center, 1828 Smith Rd., Akron; Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: This reception will be hosted by the Metro Parks Photography Club. Mingle with the photographers and enjoy light refreshments. The exhibit will be on display through May.
