Where/When: Fort Island/Griffiths Park and Resource Center, 413 Trunko Rd., Fairlawn; Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: The Learning Resource Center is cleaning out its craft supplies and is inviting the public to come in and do a craft project of their choice.

Where/When: Old Trail School, 2315 Ira Rd., Bath Township; Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Why Go: Come to Old Trail School and shop for your locally produced farm and food products at the Countryside Conservancy's Winter Farmers' Market.

Pricing: Entrance to the market is free.

Where/When: 13512 Station Rd., Brecksville; Saturday at 9 a.m.

Why Go:  Travel the entire Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad line from Brecksville Station to Canton, the furthest south station, and back. A boxed lunch is included.

Pricing: $25.

Why Go: Support the Indians as they go up against the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees.

5. MAMMA MIA!

Where/When: EJ Thomas Hall, 198 Hill St., Akron; Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why Go: Mamma Mia! comes to EJ Thomas Hall as part of the Broadway in Akron 2010 to 2011 Season. 

Pricing: General tickets range from $35 to $62.50. University of Akron student, faculty and staff discounts available with valid Zip Card. Student tickets are $15; staff and faculty tickets are $25.
