Golfsmith Akron Grand Opening Event - THIS WEEKEND!

Life in Akron is getting
a whole lot better for local golfers with the opening of a 21,000 square-feet
Golfsmith store, providing an unrivaled retail experience in the city’s largest
golf specialty store. Offering an interactive, try-before-you-buy environment,
Golfsmith’s newest Ohio location enables golfers of all skills levels to work with Golfsmith’s experts to test and select the ideal gear for their game.

Golfsmith’s Akron
location, located on Route 18 in the Akron suburb of Fairlawn, brings the
company’s Ohio footprint to five stores. It includes four custom fitting
studios, an expansive putting green and massive product selection of the best
brands in golf, as well as GolfTEC training studios with PGA teaching
professionals and Certified Master Club Fitters. Golfsmith stores provide a relaxing
space for golfers who simply want to stop by and talk with like-minded golf
nuts, hit some putts or swing the latest gear in a simulator.

Grand Opening
Celebration

A Grand Opening Celebration will be held at the Golfsmith Akron store (3737 W. Market St., Fairlawn) Thursday, May 29 through Saturday, May 31 with a
number of exciting activities including $10,000 in giveaways, free
instructional clinics, all-day contests and door-buster
deals, and demo events featuring Callaway’s new Big Bertha driver,
TaylorMade’s SLDR series and Cobra Bio Cell lineup.

• “TaylorMade Thursday” May 29 (9am - 9pm) TaylorMade Thursday will feature contests all day for the latest
  TaylorMade merchandise including a JetSpeed driver giveaway, and the first 100
  Customers in the store will receive a sleeve of TaylorMade golf balls. Skills contests include putting, guess your drive, and shot accuracy challenges to win
  TaylorMade products!

• “Shopping Spree Friday” May
  30 (8am - 9pm) The first 200 customers in the store will receive their choice of Bridgestone
  golf balls or a Srixon Hat; be there early to register for a $1,000 shopping spree – doors open at 8:00 with the drawing at 9:15 a.m. – additional contests and
  free GolfTEC clinics all afternoon.

  representatives from Callaway and Cobra to learn about the latest technology,
