Ohio Connections Academy Information Session

Ohio Connections Academy to host information
session in Akron

Representatives from Ohio Connections Academy (OCA), a
leading e-school serving students in grades K-12 from across Ohio, will host an
information session on Wednesday, March 12th in Akron.

OCA delivers a personalized virtual
public school education that combines state-certified teachers, a print-rich
curriculum, technology tools and community experiences. Teachers
develop a personalized learning plan for each student, deliver
instruction, evaluate assignments and work directly with students via the phone
and Internet, while a parent or other adult “Learning Coach,” oversees progress
in the home.

The information sessions are designed to educate
prospective parents and students about the virtual public school as well as answer
questions about how the program works, the benefits to students, and how to
enroll. The sessions are scheduled across the state for families making
enrollment decisions for the upcoming school year. Open enrollment for OCA
begins March 3rd.
