Open House and Networking Event

Plan to attend our SPECIAL EVENT June 18! Open House for Tuesday June 18th
6:30 pm Networking and Social Time Lemonade and Light Snacks
Greet and mingle with a group of local professionals, local business owners, college students, and people who just want to improve their communication skills. Bring your business card or literature for our networking table. *Drop a business card in the fishbowl for our drawing! Our basket is full of motivational and self help CD's and books plus some great Toastmaster resource materials.
7:00 pm Open House Meeting Starts
Take your seats for a front and center view of our two speakers for the night: "A Child's Tale" presented by John Niles DTM 5-7 minutes Humor and storytelling to entertain all ages!
"What's It Worth To You?" presented by Nancy L. Secrist ACS ALS 7-8 minutes Our informative and motivational speaker is a local business owner, current district leader, and long time Toastmaster.
7:30 pm Table Topics Would you like to excel in job interviews? Speak up when someone asks "For a few words...?" The useful skill of expressing yourself without any preparation is both fun and challenging. No matter what, we give a round of applause!
7:45 pm Evaluation
Providing helpful feedback is an important part of our self paced, learn by doing program. Listen as an evaluator helps one of our speakers with positive responses to their technique and also with friendly help to improve for next time.
7:55 pm Drawing of the Winner and Closing
Drawing for our winner of the evening with a gift basket. Our basket is full of motivational and self help CD's and books plus some great Toastmaster resource materials. But we are all winners if Toastmasters can help you!
Don't rush off if you have a little more time to return to the refreshments, ask our members a few questions, or gather some free information to take home.
This is the fine print text where you might tell your guests that membership in Toastmasters may result in personal achievement, professional advancement, social engagement, and a great evening out!
