Have an old phone, tablet or MP3 player?Β 

You can get rid of your e-waste without harming the environment β€” and get some cash β€” with a newΒ Β ecoATM, anΒ automated kiosk that buys back used electronics.

A lot of people have a drawer full ofΒ old electronics they don't know what to do with, and plenty end up inΒ landfills or incinerators,Β adding toxic waste to the environment, the company said.

TheΒ ecoATM founders wanted to solve thatΒ problem while offering an instant reward. The kiosks pay up to $250 cashΒ depending on value/usability. ecoATM finds a second life for 60 percent of devices and recycles the rest. Β
