Suburban League Split Among Three Divisions Under New Allignment

Revere, Tallmadge and Cloverleaf drop to Division III and  Nordonia drops to Division II as the Ohio High School Athletic Associaion announced its new division lineup for the 2013 football season.

Copley and Highland remain in Division II.  Green and Wadsworth remain in the big school Division I.  The football divisions are based on the amount of male students enrolled.

Some of the teams on Copley's non-conference schedule are also changing divisions.  Cleveland JFK of the Senate League drops from Division I to Division II.  Akron East drops from Division II to Division III while Firestone remains in Division II.

Perennial non-conference foe, Orrville, dropped from Division IV to Division V, which is the reason why the Red Riders were excluded from the Indians' schedule this year and replaced with East.  Next year, Norton will replace Orrville as Copley's regular non-conference rival.  Norton, a former member of the Suburban League,  remains in Division III.
