• Hiram Township Swears in Fire Department (weeklyvillager.com) — Hiram Township’s newly organized fire department is now fully sworn in and staffing its fire truck and ambulance around the clock from the township building on State Route 82. Local leaders say most members live in Hiram Township, and village and township officials are also heading back to mediation, hoping to finalize an agreement that benefits both communities.
