• Coroner's rulings: 10/6 (toledoblade.com subscription) — A Lucas County coroner ruling confirms that an 82-year-old Holland resident died by suicide at the Econo Lodge on E. Mall Drive in Holland on Sept. 16. The report also lists several other accidental and pending deaths from Toledo-area communities, detailing causes such as falls, drug toxicity, and vehicle crashes.
   

• Ohio man charged in Angola after wondering into apartments (wtvbam.com) — A 24-year-old man from Holland faces felony and misdemeanor charges in Indiana after police say he repeatedly entered nearby apartments uninvited following a concert at an Angola bar. Court records note he'd previously been banned from the venue, and a conviction could bring up to three and a half years in prison and a substantial fine.
