17th Annual Christopher Wawrin Memorial Blood Drive
Saturday, October 18th, 2014 9 am - 2 pm Ravenna Elks Club, 776 N. Freedom Street, Ravenna, OH 44266
Christopher Wawrin was a regular blood donor who understood the importance
of giving so others could live. Christopher was involved in a tragic confrontation
that left him with a serious injury. For 10 days, he fought to live, receiving over
100 units of blood. Sadly, Christopher lost his fight on December 1, 1997.
Christopher’s family is hosting a drive to honor his memory and help others
fighting to survive. They invite everyone in Portage County to come and give the
gift of life to ensure others receive the lifesaving treatment they need!
