Portage Learning Centers Race to the Finish 5K

Portage Learning Centers will hold its first 5K race on May11, 2013.  Pre-registrations close on April 17. 

The 5K entry fee is $20 for those who pre-register by April 17th, $25 the day of the event.  T-shirts are guaranteed for all those who pre-register.  Monetary and food donations are being accepted for this race and sponsorship levels are available.

The event will be held at Wingfoot Lake State Park, 993 Goodyear Park Blvd. in Suffield.  Registrations and packet pick-up will begin at 8AM with the race beginning at 9 AM.

Portage Learning Center is a nonprofit organization that administers the Federal Head Start Program and other early education programs in Portage County. Head Start is a free preschool program that serves low-income 3-5-year-old children and their families. The families must be residents of Portage County and must meet the income guidelines in order to be eligible.
