WAS Labs Race Team Summer Success

WAS Labs Cycling Press Release

WAS Labs Cycling is a northeastern Ohio cycling and racing team which Portage Cyclery is a proud sponsor. WAS Labs Cycling has participated in several events which has seen their team and several individuals reach the podium.

WAS Labs Cycling has earned 31 - 1^st place finishes and over 100 top 10 finishes in the current 2012 cycling season.

Leading the charge is Dylan Hayda, a Kent resident. Dylan has been on the top step of the podium 8 times this year. With Dylan’s latest win he will be eligible to move from a category 5 to a category 4 racer.

Dylan’s 2012 wins have come in the following events:

June 17^th - Wooster Criterium Ride for the Rose – Cat 5 (USA Cycling)

June 16^th – Stark Velo Canton Criterium – Cat 5 (USA Cycling)

June 9^th – Mt Pleasant Criterium – Cat 5 (USA Cycling)

May 29^th – Westlake – Cat4/5

May 22^nd – Westlake – Cat4/5

May 15^th – Westlake – Cat4/5

May 12^th – RATL Race #4 – Cat 5 (USA Cycling)

May 6^th – Presque Isle TT – 20-29M
