Update: 3 Suspects in Armed Robbery Near Kent State Campus

Police are looking for two black men and one white man, between the ages of 18 and 23

Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place not far from the campus on South Lincoln Street Tuesday night.

A woman was robbed at gunpoint by three men at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday, according to Kent police.

The robbery took place near Marigold Lane and apartments, which are located at 705 S. Lincoln St.

According to police, the suspects are two black men and one white man between the ages of 18 and 23. The men were wearing jeans and dark-colored jackets. They reportedly left the scene in an older, red Pontiac.

Kent State students were advised of the robbery in a Flash alert Tuesday night, though it's unclear if students were involved. No further information was available.

The robbery is the second this year near the campus.

The first robbery of two students actually took place on campus in February. .
