Bloomin' Kent

Pizzute's Plant-n-Thyme delivered hundreds of flats of beautiful flowers for the Main Street Kent Adopt-A-Spot Program this weekend. Seven carts of flowers lined the back parking lot of Huntington Bank, as volunteers retrieved their orders throughout the morning on Saturday. Each of the flower beds is sponsored and maintained by business owners and members of the community.  will maintain the flower beds througout the summer. On Friday, May 25, Pizzute's Plant-n-Thyme will return to downtown Kent with 65 hanging flower baskets, half of which were generously sponsored by Kent business Smithers-Oasis.

The people in this town are simply amazing, from those who make financial contributions, to those with their hands in the dirt. We're all going the extra mile to make Kent bloomingly beautiful as the transformation of our downtown continues into the summer.
