Outdoor, live, local music. Kick It!

Main Street Kent launches Kickstarter campaign for "Thursday Night Live" summer concert series at Hometown Bank Plaza - community pitches in to make it happen!

With so many great places (both old and new) to go in downtown Kent, it's nice to be able to just go chill outside and listen to live music — and soak it all in. Last summer, Main Street Kent started a concert series called "," where local bands took the stage at the Hometown Bank Plaza from 7 to 9 p.m. on — you guessed it — Thursday nights. Last year, we hosted , The Hive Robbers, Xtra Crispy, and other local favorites. People loved it.

We're ready to do it again, and we need your help to make it happen. We've launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to bring "Thursday Night Live" back downtown this summer. Even $10 will help. So will $100.

Wouldn't it would be fun to grab the family or some friends, and head downtown to get some Ray's for dinner, or a Taco Tonto's burrito to go, then sit at the plaza and listen to the sweet sound of live, local music this summer? Please contribute to our campaign if this sounds good to you.
