Collaborative Fashion Photography Exhibit Debuts in Rockwell Hall

Fashion Photography, a photography exhibit by Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication & Design Candidate and Adjunct Professor Bryan Rinnert is on display in the Rockwell Hall Atrium, first and second floors. A public show will be held on September 20 from 5 – 7 p.m. The exhibit is a joint effort between Rinnert and several faculty and administrators in the School of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Kent State University.

The fashions were designed by Associate Professors Noél Palomo-Lovinski and Linda Öhrn-McDaniel. Director of the School of Fashion Design and Merchandising J.R. Campbell coordinated the collaboration and installation of the exhibit.

Models included Kent State students Brittany Bargerstock and Sarah Pohan, alumni Peni Acayo, Heather Campbell and Kristin Schwartz, and University of Akron student Samantha Ost. Hair styling was provided by Cassie Dulworth and Erin Ferguson.

Rinnert earned Individual Investigation credit for producing the exhibit, directed by Associate Professor in the School of Visual Communication Design Jaime Kennedy. Rinnert’s goal was to explore fashion photography by focusing on the form of the dress rather than the models.
