Downtown Kent Graffiti Spree Pinned on Brimfield Teen
Vandalism, criminal damaging charges filed for graffiti on several businesses

Kent police are charging a Brimfield teen with vandalism and criminal damaging in connection with several graffiti tags found this week in downtown Kent.
William R. Sekerak, Jr., 19, of Cline Road in Brimfield was charged with spraying graffiti on after a witness spotted him, according to Kent police.
Police say Sekerak admitted to spray-painting graffiti on the bank after they gathered evidence linking him to the crime.

After an initial charge of criminal damaging, officers later found similar graffiti on , Star of the West Milling Co. and an ODOT vehicle in the area.
Sekerak is not set to be arraigned on the criminal damaging charge until Tuesday. He faces a fifth-degree felony charge for the vandalism associated with the graffiti on Home Savings Bank and the mill, according to Portage County court records.
