Bark Bone-anza Charity Dog Walk

On Sunday, May 19th, the City of Aurora's Park & Recreation Department and Freedom Greyhound Rescue of Aurora invite you to paw-ticipate in THE 6TH ANNUAL BARK BONE-ANZA CHARITY DOG WALK sponsored by Purina Pro Plan’s Rally to Rescue.  The event is held at Tails and Trails Dog Park (adjacent to Sunny Lake Park) 841 Page Road in Aurora, Ohio  44202.  Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm. Cost: Free (fees apply to some activities.)   The 2-mile Charity Dog Walk kicks off the event at 10am.  Registration $10 per person (includes breakfast and pup pack).  Prizes awarded for top 3 pledges.  Following the walk, the competition heats up with Charity Dog Challenges including Doggie Limbo, Tournament of Tricks, Tower of Temptation…and more.  Have a favorite dog biscuit recipe?  Enter the Biscuit Bite Off!! Visit rescues and vendors!  Dress up your pup and enter the Country Western Costume Contest OR dress your pup in evening wear, swimwear, anything goes in the All Breeds Fashion Show! Pet owners will enjoy letting their dogs romp in the one acre fenced dog pens. Please note – designated pens for large dogs (over 25 pounds) and small dogs (under 25 pounds). Admission is free.  Fee applies for some activities.  All proceeds from the Charity Walk will be disbursed among participating rescues.
