Crooked River Adventures Clean Up the Crooked River

Volunteers are invited to join Crooked River Adventures, operated by the Department of Recreational Services at Kent State University, to help clean up a few different spots along the river. The livery will feature the “Clean Up the Cuyahoga.”

The volunteers will be split into three groups that will travel along the river while they clean up, focusing on grabbing garbage on their walk. Group 1 will leave Tannery Park in Kent, they will travel to Middlebury Road. The second group will leave from Brust Park to head out to Waterworks Park in Cuyahoga Falls. The event will last three or four hours.

All volunteers will be transported to and from these locations, with the equipment that is necessary. The groups will also be served lunch.
