Sexual abuse has enormous costs. Individuals and organizations cannot afford to ignore it, as children and families are hurt, reputations of organizations can be destroyed, and insurance settlements can be astronomical.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Portage County served 126 children in 2009 and 1139 in the last 10 years. All of these children were involved in reports of sexual abuse and nearly all of them live in Portage County.
Help us to strike out child sexual abuse. Consider attending this insightful and effective local training and encourage members of your neighborhood, organization, or community group to do the same.
