Green Drinks is a mildly-structured social gathering for environmental professionals and interested citizens. If you are local to Portage County, come meet neighbors of similar interests. If you are visiting, come share your experiences of the rest of the world. This is the night of the New Hampshire primary election, and Ray's management has offered control of at least one of the television monitors in The Pit for our choice of news channel. Discussions may include strategies for coping with reduced availability of fossil fuel, adaptation to climate change, backyard chickens, and the fracking energy companies. Earthquake discussions are anticipated. There is no admission charge, donations are accepted. Ray's Tuesday appetizer specials are available. Ray's feature draught for January is Great Lakes Blackout Stout, named in memory of the Great Blackout of August 2003, which may suitably address the energy concerns of Green Drinkers in sustainable conversation while awaiting results from New Hampshire.
