Childcare is not provided, but The Place of Peace is a child-friendly space.  There is no charge; feel free to bring a snack or beverage to share.

G.R.A.N.D. stands for “Guardians Raising and Nurturing Dependents.”  The G.R.A.N.D. Support Group exists to provide information and support to any Kinship Caregivers that wish to be involved.  A Kinship Caregiver is a person who has taken a child or children who are not their own into their home to raise; legal custody is not required in order to be considered a Kinship Caregiver.  Kinship Caregivers can be grandparents, aunts, uncles, or even close family friends of the children/families they are helping.
