Non-Knitters and Knitters Welcome!
Students, faculty, staff and community are welcome to join us to learn to knit (crochet, needle knitting and loom knitting are welcomed and taught), create needed items and serve our community.
Knitting for Those in Need offers volunteer service opportunities Tuesdays and Thursdays nights, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the KSU Library on the fourth floor. KTN uses the knitting arts to serve people in need of warm hats, warm scarves and cotton washcloths.

Last year KTN gave away over 500 hats and scarves to 12 different social service organizations in the Kent and Ravenna area. Our goal this semester is to make and distribute 1000 items, with a yearly goal of 1500.
We are including cotton washcloths in our giving this year to be distributed to the homeless, homeless people transitioning into homes and international refugees.
