During Lent, Christ Episcopal Church in Kent will offer a weekly opportunity for prayer on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. with the service of Evening Prayer. Evening Prayer is one of the most beloved services of the Anglican Tradition and is rooted in ancient monastic practices. The service combines scripture readings, prayer, and reflection and will last about 30 minutes. As a practice of Anglican spirituality, Evening Prayer offers a perfect way to transition between the workday and the evening. All are welcome to attend.
