Approximately 11.7 million Americans identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). The LGBT community represents a large segment of society availing themselves of health care services.
A panel featuring a physician, pharmacist, community member and transgender diversity trainer will discuss delivering culturally competent care to the members of the LGBT community.
