Kent State University’s Department of Pan-African Studies will host College of Wooster History Professor Ibra Sene for a reception and lecture. The reception will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with the lecture to follow at 7 p.m. Sene’s lecture will focus on youth, religion and cultural identity in the era of globalization and Hizbut Tarqiyya, a West African social youth movement of Islamic intellectuals.
