Portage Cyclery Firecracker Bike Ride

July 1st Firecracker Ride

 

            The Portage Cyclery is sponsoring the upcoming Firecracker ride on Sunday, July 1st. There will be a 40 mile fast ride or a 25 mile relaxed pace ride (10-15 mph). This will be a road ride and helmets are required. The ride will begin at 10 a.m. The start and end point will be at The Portage Cyclery 2645 St Rt 59  Ravenna, OH. Both groups will take off at the same time, will take separate routes and meet back at the store to feast on some grilled food and relax to live music.

The live music and grilled food will start at 1:00 PM and is open for all to enjoy. All are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities and support The Ravenna Fun Fitness Series without participating in the rides. Donations will be requested to benefit The Ravenna Fun Fitness Series. The Portage Cyclery will have gift bags available for all riders.

The Ravenna Fun Fitness Series a partnership between Ravenna Parks & Recreation and Fit Chicks, Inc.  The Series offers three events designed to promote family fun fitness and support the efforts of the Ravenna Parks and Recreation.  The next event in the Ravenna Fun Fitness Series is the Balloon A-Fair Chase which is a 10 mile run slated for Saturday, September 15th.  You can learn more about the Ravenna Fun Fitness Series at http://www.imathlete.com.

The Portage Cyclery is a Bicycle sales, service and parts store to educate, service and provide products to the greater Portage County area.
