The Portage Foundation will host its first fund-raising Cabaret dinner show featuring top-notch talent with deep roots in Portage County. Mike Adamle, former Kent Roosevelt gridiron standout, sports personality and former National Football League player, will be the master of ceremonies for the event.
Other confirmed participants include Susan Banks Ward, the Ravenna native who won the Miss Ohio pageant in 1975 and Miss America runner-up who has had a successful Broadway career; Dan Angotti and the DanJo jazz/rock orchestra; Seth Stewart, Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School graduate and Broadway song and dance man; vocalist Bobby Sepulveda, former singer with Joe Walsh; Tom Craven, magician and teacher for nearly 40 years, and Max Nolin, who will sing light classical and old standards.
The cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m., dinner is at 7 p.m. and the show is at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any Portage Foundation Board member or by calling the office.
