Rock Show - Dead on TV, The Stalkers, The Back Alley Abortionists

Chicago electro punks Dead on TV are taking their brand of garage/new wave/punk on the road with a stop Sunday, April 14th at Checkers and Trophies. It promises to be a mess.

Ever wondered what it would sound like if Lemmy played synthesizers? Well, now is your chance to find out! Waters freshly broke, their debut EP garnering college radio play across the country, Chicago's own Dead on TV is set to take it's show on the road. Armed with nothing to lose and desperate for someone to care, the band is set to unleash a fury at Checkers and Trophies on Sunday, April 14th. The doors are at 8pm and is 5 bucks for a literal smorgasbord of audio and visual treats designed to titillate and disgust.

Dead on TV is comprised of ex-members of Chicago bands Die Warzau, The Gothsicles, and The Digital Kill. The sound is a narcissistic, smash and grab brand of electronic new wave punk in the vein of The Cars, Ministry, and Devo with a dash of the Stooges.
