U2charist

What is a U2charist? It's a traditional Episcopalian church service using U2 songs instead of hymns. It's a chance to raise money to promote the anti-malarial efforts spearheaded by Nets for Life, a program devoted to saving the lives of people  across the sub-Saharan Africa who live every day facing the threat of malaria. It's a way for you to enjoy the songs of U2 while participating in the time-honored tradition of Holy Communion in a small family-friendly inclusive church which specializes in welcoming all who come to our doors. All in a 150 year old church less than 5 minutes walk from downtown Kent!

Doors open at 6:30 PM. We'll have free coffee and snacks before and after the service, as well as educational materials about malaria and Episcopalian spiritual practices, crafts for children, and lots of great music. The service will start at 7 and should last until about 8. You're welcome to stay after for conversation, food, and more contemplation of God and how we can all act to make this world a better place.
