Come join Wild Earth Outfitters as we hike through Tinkers Creek State Park. The hike begins in the parking lot of the park at 9:00 May 11. This hike will traverse areas in the extensively protected landscape of the upper Tinkers Creek watershed. Sights along the way such as a Great Blue Heron rookery active beaver pond, and many wildflowers will be observed and discussed. The 3 miles of trails traverse woodlands, recovering farmland, meadows and skirt the edge of a very large marsh and several small lakes. Wildlife, several birds, and even a bald eagle may be seen as there is an active nest nearby. Click this link for directions
