Youth from surrounding communities are especially encouraged to submit entries. The Garden Club’s website http://gardenclubofkent.org/index.htm will carry both entry forms.

Regular dinner meetings will begin again on September 24, at 6:30 pm at the United Methodist Church in Kent, with Joseph Ripley and Ray Aeschilman demonstrating “Grow Boxes,” a form of hydroponic growing adaptable to either small or large gardens. In October the featured event is the “white elephant auction,” always a lot of fun, and the speaker for November will be Emliss Ricks. New members always welcome.
