Kent Man Arrested on Pot Dealing Charge

Police: Judd A. Rusnack sold pot to undercover agent

A Kent man has been arrested on charges he sold $2,000 worth of marijuana to an undercover Portage County Drug Task Force agent.

Judd A. Rusnack, 33, of 1440 Loop Road, sold $2,000 worth of pot to the agent Wednesday, according to the drug task force. The exchange took place in a business parking lot on S.R. 59 in Ravenna Township. Officers arrested Rusnack shortly after the undercover buy.

Rusnack was arraigned Thursday afternoon on multiple charges, including trafficking in marijuana, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. He is being held on a $3,500 bond in the Portage County Jail, according to court records.

The task force announced the arrest Thursday morning. Police departments with officers participating in the task force include Aurora, Kent, Garrettsville, the sheriff's office and the Portage County Prosecutor's Office.
