Kent Resident and Pet Lover Dies at 87

June E. Redmond, 87, of Kent, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Redmond, whom she married on May 27, 1950; children, David Redmond of Kent, Steven Redmond of Kent, Tom Redmond of Kent and Nancy Redmond of Kent; brother, Robert Bancroft of Kent; and sister, Barbara Miller of North Canton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elsie (Kline) Bancroft; brothers, Melvin, Bill, Carl, Donald and Jim Brancroft; and sister, Laura Clapp. 

Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory posted in June's obituary that private services will be held.
