Lock Down At Kent High School: Lock Down Lifted
Kent Roosevelt High School was briefly on lockdown Thursday afternoon.

KENT, OH — Kent's Theodore Roosevelt High School was briefly on lockdown Thursday afternoon. The lockdown was lifted by 2:50 p.m., a school official told Patch.
The school district is not releasing anymore information about the incident that prompted the lockdown at this time, the spokesperson said. Buses for students at the high school departed seven minutes later than usual.
Kent Superintendent George Joseph went to the high school Tuesday afternoon to deal with the incident, his secretary said. More information on the incident may become available once Joseph returns from the school.

No students were in danger during the incident, Kent Police told Channel 19. A student was reportedly arrested inside the high school.
