Photos: Kent State Remembers May 4, 1970
Commemoration of the 41st anniversary of the Kent State shootings took place today
Hundreds flocked to the Kent State University campus today to remember the events of May 4, 1970, that ended with four students killed and nine wounded after Ohio National Guard troops fired into a crowd of protestors.
This year's commemoration ceremonies were moved indoors because of less-than-ideal weather, but that didn't stop people from exploring the site, taking photos and pausing to reflect at the markers where the four students were killed.
